Description

This is a mid-19th century pair of townhouses located on the south side of Clifton Crescent in Folkestone. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement and attics, and are stuccoed. A modern two-storey mansard roof has been added. There are two sash windows and two three-light windows in total. The buildings feature rusticated end quoins and string courses separating the floors. The second-floor windows are round-headed, while the first-floor windows have architraves with pediments over the centre bay windows and cornices to the side windows. Iron flower guards are present. Ground-floor windows have cambered heads with keystones. Doorcases are located on the sides and feature a triglyph frieze above. Numbers 1 to 11 (odd) and number 12B form a group with numbers 15 to 31 (odd).
