Description
Nos 19 and 21 on New Walk are early 19th-century buildings that are stuccoed and stand three storeys tall. They feature six windows, with the centre four projecting forward and having rusticated quoins on the ground floor. There is a plinth and bands at the heads of the ground floor windows, which are adorned with cornices supported by brackets. The second storey windows have pediments on brackets. The buildings also have a frieze and a modillion cornice in stucco. All windows are sash style with glazing bars, and the ground and first floor windows are set in moulded architraves. There are side entrances, and the roof is slate and hipped. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 29 (odd) and No 27, known as Provincial House.
