NEW WALK (North east side) Nos 62 and 64

GV II Good early C19 pair of attached houses. Stuccoed. Panelled high parapet with key-motif decoration. Two storeys and basement. Six windows. Centre two windows set back, and ends recessed with doorways with paired pilasters carrying heavy entablature. First and second floor paired pilasters (with decorated necks), to the projecting bays, carrying deep entablature with heavy cornice across front. All windows sashes with glazing bars in moulded architraves. Across ground floor central recess in decorated cast iron verandah.

Nos 58 to 64 (even) and No 47, New Walk Museum, Nos 1, 3 and 5 Museum Square, including Nos 59 to 61 (odd) Princess Road West and No 1 West Street form a group around Museum Square.
