Description
This is an early 19th century pair of semi-detached houses located on Monument Road. The houses are constructed of stucco with a slate roof and a bracketted eaves cornice. Each house has two storeys and three bays, for a total of six bays across the pair. The left and right sides are quoined. The ground floor has a symmetrical arrangement of a window, a door, two broad tripartite windows, another door, and a final window. The ground floor windows are set within moulded surrounds, with the sash windows having eared details. The panelled doors each have a fanlight and are set within moulded frames with bracketted cornices. A moulded cornice band runs along the first floor level. The first floor contains six windows; the central two are four panes wide, while the outer windows are slightly wider than those above the doors. These first-floor windows are also within moulded surrounds and feature blank panels beneath. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars.
