26 and 28, Reservoir Road B16

Nos 26 and 28 Reservoir Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from stucco and feature a slate roof with wide eaves. Each house stands two storeys high and has three bays, with giant pilasters dividing the two homes and at either end. The ground floor showcases banded rustication, with a central door accessed by steps, flanked by wide pilasters that support a heavy entablature. There are also two windows with moulded surrounds, each having panels at the base and a cornice on brackets. A band runs along the first floor at the sill level, which features three windows in moulded surrounds. The central window rises from the blocking course of the doorcase below, while the other two windows have splays. All the windows are sashes, with No 28's windows including glazing bars. To the left of No 26, there is a lower two-storeyed addition.
