Description

RESERVOIR ROAD 1. 5104 Ladywood B16 Nos 26 and 28 (formerly listed under Edgbaston) SP 08 NW 6/36 31.3.76 SP 08 NW 36/18 II GV 2. Mid C19 pair of semi-detached houses. Stucco; slate roof with wide eaves. Each house 2 storeys; 3 bays on the giant pilasters dividing the pairs and at either end. Ground floor with banded rustication, central door up steps and flanked by wide pilasters supporting heave entablature and 2 windows in moulded surrounds with panels at base and cornice on brackets. Band at first floor sill level. First floor with 3 windows in moulded surrounds, the centre one rising from the blocking course of the doorcase below, the others with splays. All window sashes, those of No 28 with glazing bars. To the left of No 26 a lower 2-storeyed addition.
