Description

This is an early 19th century pair of semi-detached houses located on Monument Road in Ladywood. They are constructed of stucco with a slate roof and wide, flat eaves. The two-storey houses have four bays, with the outer two bays recessed, containing entrances that have fanlights and arched heads above them, and single sash windows above. The central bays feature later canted bay windows on the ground floor, and sash windows directly above. The ground floor is finished with banded rustication, while a moulded band runs along the first-floor sill level. The sash windows are complete with glazing bars.
