Description

No. 72 on New Walk is an early 19th-century, two-storey house built of red brick. It features three windows, with the central window having a round head and a small cornice. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there is a band at the first floor level. The eaves cornice is supported by paired modillions. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. On the ground floor, there are two wooden splayed bays with modern glazing. The entrance door is accompanied by a wooden trellis porch. This building is listed for its group value with Nos. 72 to 80 (even), which form a cohesive group.
