Description

PEMBROKE COLLEGE 1. 1485 Staircase 15 (part of) (Formerly listed as No 20 Pembroke Street) SP 5106 SW 8/574 12.1.54. II 2. RCHM 141. Probably an ancient core of Cl7 but altered in C19 and now completely rebuilt. 2-storeyed roughcast rubble and timber-framed with an overhang, moulded cornice, parapet and a Welsh slate roof in which is an attic dormer. The ground floor has 1 modern sash window and a modern red brick bay, the 1st floor 1 Cl9 sash window in a moulded wood frame with a cornice. On the parapet are the Royal Victorian Arms.
