Description
Pembroke College's Staircase 13, dating from 1485, features an ancient core that may date back to the 16th or 17th century. The building has a later three-storey front that is stuccoed and timber-framed, with cellars and an overhang at the first and second floors. It includes a moulded wood cornice, a parapet, and a red brick chimney stack. The ground floor is fitted with two 19th-century sash windows and a door-frame. On the first and second floors, there is a 18th to 19th-century three-light sash window set in a moulded wood frame. The south elevation also has an overhang at the second floor and features 18th to 19th-century sash windows in moulded wood frames.
