Description
Jasmine Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, with an artificial stone-slate roof and rebuilt brick gable stacks. The building has a three-unit plan, plus a service bay, and stands two storeys high with an attic. The front of the main range has three windows, with two-light casements on both floors, except for the left window on the ground floor, which has three lights. All windows have stop-chamfered lintels, and the upper casements are framed heavily with splayed mullions. The lower service bay to the right includes a heavy three-light casement. The left gable and the rear of the main range have additional splay-mullion casements above 20th-century single-storey extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
