Description
Lodge Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located on Milton Station Road. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a stone ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. To the left, there is a re-set pointed arched doorway with a pointed hood mould and label stops. The door includes intersecting glazing bars. To the right of the doorway, there is a small rectangular metal-framed window along with 20th-century windows. The cottage also has 20th-century swept dormer windows. There is a cellar to the right, which has a wooden lintel.
