Description
Old Barn Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble. It features a steeply pitched 20th-century tile roof and has a brick stack at the left end and a lateral stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. On the right side, there is a plank door with a glazed light, surrounded by a moulded wood frame, a wooden lintel, and a 20th-century hood. To the left, there is a three-light wooden mullioned window with a wooden lintel. The attic has a single three-light wooden casement window, also with a wooden lintel. At the rear, original wooden casements and a plank door with moulded wood surrounds are present. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
