Description
17 and 19 High Street is a house that has been converted into two dwellings, likely dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof with two brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The structure has a plinth, and the central door for No 17 is a 20th-century addition, flanked by 20th-century windows. On the first floor, there are two windows; the one on the right is a 20th-century window, while the one on the left is a three-light wooden casement with a wrought-iron window fastener. All windows are topped with stone lintels that have keystones. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
