Hill Farmhouse (Not Included) Range Of 2 Barns Approximately 60 Metres North East

Hill Farmhouse is accompanied by a range of two barns located approximately 60 meters to the northeast. These barns likely date from the early 18th century and are constructed from limestone rubble, featuring wooden lintels and some ashlar dressings. The roofs are made of Welsh slate and corrugated iron. The larger barn has a four-bay plan and includes a porch positioned to the left of center, with opposing double doors at the rear. Its steep-pitched roof is adorned with marlstone gable parapets and projecting moulded kneelers. The smaller barn, which has a three-bay plan, is lower in height and features a Welsh-slate roof, central full-height doors, and lower doors at the rear. Inside, both barns have butt-purlin roofs with through tenons, and the smaller barn includes lofted end bays.
