Description

Little Steine is a house that was likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features limestone rubble walls with wooden lintels and a thatched roof, which has been altered with rebuilt rubble ridge stacks. The house has a four-unit plan that consists of two separate builds and stands two storeys high. The front of the building is irregular with four windows, including two- and three-light casements, most of which date from the 18th and 19th centuries. There are two entrances, and the chimney stacks are located to the right of the first and third bays. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have an open fireplace.
