Description
This barn, located approximately 40 meters northwest of Chesterton Fields Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a corrugated-asbestos roof. The barn has a 5-bay section on the left with a central hipped-roofed porch and a smaller 3-bay section on the right that includes central double doors. The rear of the barn has small double doors beneath a depressed arch in the center of the 5-bay section, along with a central hipped-roofed porch for the 3-bay section. There are small rectangular ventilators that are now blocked. Inside, the barn has a butt-purlin roof with through tenons.
