Description

This barn, located approximately 40 meters southeast of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone and sandstone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has a long rectangular shape, with a central projecting porch located off-centre to the right on the west side. There are lean-tos with corrugated iron roofs on the east side, which are not considered of special interest.

On the west side, there is a single-width doorway that has been blocked on the far left, while opposite the projecting porch is a double-width opening with a raking roof. A single-width doorway is located far right, with a similar doorway opposite it on the east side.

Inside, the barn consists of eight bays supported by four original pegged roof trusses, which feature collar and tie-beams shaped like inverted V's. All principal rafters are original and have halved apexes, and there are carpenter's marks present. The barn also includes double butt purlins.
