Description

This barn, located 35 yards southwest of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone, featuring roughly dressed quoins and a stone slate roof. The barn has five bays and includes square vent holes, with high vent slits at the gable ends. The center bay has opposing cart entries; the eastern entry is adorned with a gabled projecting porch, while the western entry has a later buttress to the left. An extension on the front of the right bays on the east side has a catslide roof. Inside, the barn features collar and tie-beam trusses with a double purlin roof, and some of the timbers have been reused.
