Description

This is a headstone located in the churchyard of the Church of St John the Baptist in Great Rissington. It is positioned at the far right-hand end of a row of 11 monuments closest to the church. The headstone is made of limestone and dates back to 1745. It features a segmental head with a partially legible inscription within a circular plaque that has a raised margin. At the top, there is a winged angel's head, which is flanked by foliate carvings and single roses.
