Description
Bindweed Cottage is one of a pair of cottages dating to the 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a stone slate roof and ashlar stacks. The cottage has a rectangular plan and incorporates a small section of the adjoining cottage at its right gable end. It is one and a half storeys high, with two 20th-century eaves dormers, each lit by a 2-light wooden casement with glazing bars. The ground floor has one single-light and one 2-light wooden casement, both with segmental heads. A 20th-century glazed door with glazing bars is positioned off-centre to the left, sheltered by a shallow, gabled porch supported on wooden brackets. The gable-end stacks have moulded cappings and skirtings. The interior was not inspected.
