Description
The Corner House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and rubble, topped with a concrete plain-tile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The layout likely follows a central-stair plan with a rear outshut. The building stands two storeys high, plus attics, and has a symmetrical front with three windows. The central entrance features a four-panel door set within a 19th-century trellis porch. All windows are 12-pane sashes with stone flat arches above. The roof includes two hipped roof dormers. A county fire-insurance plaque can be found on the front wall. The sides and rear of the house are made of random rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
