Description

Well House is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features an old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a central-stair plan and stands two storeys high with attics. The symmetrical front has three windows and a central six-panel door, which is accompanied by a 20th-century porch and tall windows that have stone lintels. There are two gabled roof dormers, and all the casements have been renewed. The rear elevation is similar but includes keyblocks. The interior has not been inspected.
