Description

Dairy Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a concrete plain-tile roof with rubble and brick gable stacks. The building has a 2-unit central-stair plan with a subsidiary wing and consists of two storeys and a single storey.

The garden front has three windows and a central doorway located below a small blocked window. The outer bays feature 2-light casements on the first floor and 3-light casements below, all with chamfered lintels. The stacks have rubble bases with ashlar weatherings. To the left, there is a lower range that includes irregular casements and a secondary entrance. The rear, which faces the road, has additional casements and, in the lower range, the main entrance with a fielded 6-panel door set within a wooden porch. The interior has not been inspected.
