Description
Church Corner is a house that dates from the mid-17th century and was formerly subdivided. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with wooden lintels and features a Stonesfield-slate roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. The front facade is regular with two windows, each featuring three-light casements; the lower windows are wider and all have richly-moulded lintels with carved chamfer stops. The roof includes two gabled dormers. The entrance is located at the rear, and the house is linked to a converted outbuilding range at the back.
Inside, there is a large open fireplace with moulded stone jambs and a winder stair.
