Description

This icehouse, located approximately 100 meters west of Deddington Manor, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The exterior is made of marlstone. The entrance is on the east side of the mound and features a plank door set in a rubble wall, topped with a rustic triangular pediment. Inside, there is a vaulted tunnel that leads to an egg-shaped vaulted chamber.
