Description

Cotswold House is a late 18th-century or early 19th-century house with a garage wing that is likely 17th or 18th century. The house is constructed of coursed squared marlstone with ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick gable stacks; the garage wing has a corrugated-iron roof. It is a double-depth plan building, three storeys high, with a two-window front. The entrance features a four-panel door with an overlight. To the right is a tripartite sash window. The first and second floors have a 12-pane and 6-pane sash window respectively. All window and door openings have ashlar flat arches with rusticated voussoirs. The house has a shallow-pitched roof. The lower garage wing to the right has a steep-pitched roof and retains a three-light casement window above more modern ground-floor openings. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
