Description

Eastleigh is a house dating from the late 18th century, possibly with earlier origins. It is constructed of coursed squared marlstone with some ashlar dressings and features a Stonesfield-slate roof with brick end stacks. The building likely has a central-stair plan with a rear wing. It stands three storeys high and has a regular three-window front that is aligned to the right of centre. This front includes a central six-panel door flanked by canted bay windows with sashes and moulded cornices. The first floor has 12-pane sashes, while the second floor has 6-pane sashes, all of which are topped with ashlar flat arches. The roof has a moderate pitch, and the rear wing extends from the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
