Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th-century house located on the east side of High Street in Deddington. It consists of a short front range with a longer rear wing. The house is constructed of coursed squared marlstone with some ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick gable stacks. The front of the house has three storeys and a regular two-window arrangement. It features eroded storeybands and leaded two-light casements with small opening lights below ashlar flat arches. The ground floor originally had a fielded six-panel door, which is now located in the first bay, but was likely originally central, where a casement window is now located. The roof has a shallow pitch. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
