Description
Celandine is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed from marlstone ashlar with a Stonesfield-slate roof and a rebuilt brick end stack. It likely features a central-stair plan and stands three storeys tall. The front is symmetrical with two windows, showcasing a chamfered plinth and storeybands. A central four-panel door is flanked by nine-pane sash windows, all of which have flat arches and projecting keyblocks that connect to the band. The first floor features twelve-pane sashes, while the second floor has casements with wooden lintels. All windows have been replaced in the 20th century. The roof is steeply pitched. The interior has not been inspected.
