Description

Wirral House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of marlstone ashlar and brick, topped with a Stonesfield-slate roof featuring a brick gable stack. The building likely has a central-stair plan with a subsidiary range. It stands three storeys tall and has a symmetrical two-window front, which includes a plinth and storeybands. The central doorway is flanked by 12-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors, while the second floor has 6-pane sash windows. The rear wall is made of brick. The interior has not been inspected.
