Description

The Manse is likely an early to mid-18th century house, situated on the north side of Deddington Bullring. The building is constructed of coursed squared marlstone with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh-slate roof, featuring brick gable stacks. The property comprises a short, main front range and a subsidiary range to the rear. It is three storeys high. The front façade features an ashlar storeyband and a doorway positioned on the extreme left. A single window at ground floor level is set within an ashlar flat arch; both this window and the similar first-floor windows have 20th-century top-hung casements replacing earlier sash windows. The second floor has shorter, renewed windows. The roof is finished with gable parapets. The interior remains uninspected. The building is included on the heritage register for its group value.
