Description
The walled garden stable block and attached walls to the northwest of Deddington Manor are stables and garden walls dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed squared marlstone with Welsh-slate roofs and have brick-lined marlstone walls. The L-shaped stable range is two stories high and features leaded casements, some of which are likely original, along with a shallow-pitched hipped roof. The rear wall is part of a walled garden that measures approximately 100 meters by 25 meters, with garden walls standing about 2.5 meters high and topped with a flat stone coping. A similar wall connects the stable range to the west front of Deddington Manor, completing the enclosure of the stable court. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is included for its group value.
