Description
Lower Dairy House is an attached dairy house dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone and flint walls arranged in bands, topped with a slate roof. There are two brick stacks on the ridge. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, which are wooden casements with two and three lights, all fitted with glazing bars. The windows are accented with segmental stone voussoirs and have wooden cills. The front door is centrally located, made of planks with a rectangular top light, dating from the 20th century, and is topped by a segmental stone arch. An outbuilding that is at right angles to the main structure is noted as not being of special interest.
