Description

Church Cottage is an extension to a manor house, now functioning as a cottage at the southern end. It dates from the early 19th century and features brick walls and a slate roof with a gable end facing south. The building has two storeys and includes two windows, which are 2-light cast-iron casements with wooden glazing bars, set beneath segmental brick window arches. There is a 19th-century brick porch at the south gable end, which has a round-headed arch. The entrance consists of a plank door with nine glass upper lights, dating from the 20th century.
