Inn, now house. Late C16/early C17, C18 and C20. Timber framing with plastered infill; coursed squared limestone rubble; thatch and old plain-tile roofs. 2-unit lobby-entry plan linked to single unit. One storey plus attic and 2 storeys. Right half of front is masked by C20 link to C18 stone unit facing left; framing of main range includes straight braces and there is a blocked original window to rear. 2-storey stone unit has segmental-arched windows, Thatched roof of main range, sweeping over small dormers, has a central brick stack; tiled roof of wing has a rubble gable stack. Interior: blocked fireplace with elaborately chamfer-stopped bressumer; flanking winder stair; chamfered beams; straight windbraces; large open fireplace in stone wing.
