Description
Repton Cottage, now the Bursary of Bloxham School, is a cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century, with early 19th century windows and a 20th century extension at the rear. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble and has a 20th century tiled roof. The building has a three-unit plan and features two brick stacks at the ends. The façade includes a range of four windows, with a gable front on the left side that rises to two storeys plus an attic, while the right side is a single storey plus an attic. There are two entrances, two pointed arched windows with intersecting glazing bars and hood moulds on the left, and two sash windows on the right. The attic features three pointed arched windows and a gabled casement. The cottage was previously thatched. The interior has not been inspected.
