Description
The garden house, located approximately 15 meters to the east of Hamelin Cottage, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and marlstone rubble, topped with a thatch roof. The building has a single-unit plan and consists of one storey over a semi-basement. The brick front features a large three-light leaded window and a four-panel door on the left, which is accessed by a flight of stone steps. To the right, steps lead down to the basement door. The left gable wall includes a two-light cellar window set in the rubble plinth. The rear wall, made of rubble, has another three-light leaded casement. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
