Description

No. 1 North Lane is a house that dates back to the early 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a thatch roof and brick gable stacks. The house likely has a three-unit plan and consists of one storey plus an attic. The front of the building has four windows, with the doorway located to the right of centre. There are two 2-light casements to the right of the door, and to the left, there are two more 2-light casements along with a single-light casement. The first floor includes 2-light dormers but shows signs of having had lower windows in the past. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
