Description

This milestone, located approximately 100 meters north of the junction with North Lane on the Oxford Road in Weston on the Green, dates from the 18th or early 19th century. It is made of limestone, which may have been renewed, and features a cast-iron plate. The flat stone has a segmental head and is recessed to hold a rectangular plate that reads "BRACKLEY/12/OXFORD/9".
