Description

This is an icehouse located approximately 60 metres northwest of Middle Aston House. It dates from the 18th or 19th century and is constructed from limestone rubble and brick. The structure features a dome that projects from an earth mound on one side. The entrance is created by leaving out a wedge-shaped segment and covering it with a tapering rubble barrel vault. Inside, the dome is made of rubble, while the lower part, likely an inverted cone, is lined with brick.
