Description

The garden walls to the south and east of Canterbury House on Fir Lane are likely from the 18th century. Constructed from limestone rubble, these walls stand between 2 to 2.5 metres high. They extend approximately 50 metres along the west side of the churchyard and return for about 40 metres along the north side. The walls feature a cement-capped rubble coping above a projecting course.
