Description

This barn, located about 30 metres east of Little Bewl Bridge Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame and is weather boarded, standing on a base made of sandstone and red and blue brick. The roof is plain tiled, with a hipped section on the left that steps down to a gabled addition. This addition has one storey and a high loft, with casement windows on the lower section of the front and return elevations. There are boarded doors on the left and right returns, and a catslide outshot at the rear.
