Description

This is an oasthouse built in the mid-19th century, located about 50 metres east of Castlemaine Farm Cottage. It features red brick construction and plain tiled roofs. The building has three storeys of stowage, with four wooden casement windows on each floor and boarded cart doors on the right end. On the left end, there is a roundel, and at the rear, there is a continuous range of four square kilns. The leftmost kiln has a raking dormer, and all the kilns are designed with brick corbelled eaves, cowls, and winding vanes.
