Bennet's House is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and extensions made in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building is timber framed, clad with red brick on the ground floor, and features tile hanging on the first floor, with some of the frame exposed. It has a plain tiled roof and consists of two storeys plus a garret, with single-storey wings. The central block is the original structure, facing the road with gable ends, and has two hipped two-storey wings to the right. The central gable has bargeboards and a pendant, with chimney stacks located in the centre, to the right, and at both ends.
On the front, there is a three-light wooden casement window in the gable, with a sashed oriel and a canted bay window below. To the right on the first floor, there is another three-light wooden casement window, and there are three-light oriel windows in the single-storey wings to the left and right. A half-glazed door is located to the centre right, topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. The rear roof of the main block is half-hipped and features a prominent gablet. Attached to the right rear is a single-storey outhouse range that includes three wooden casement windows, a boarded door, and carriage doors on the right return.
