GOUDHURST THE PLAIN TQ 7237-7337 (east side) 15/238 Forge House and railed forecourt GV II House. C18. Red and blue chequered brick on ground floor, tile hung on 1st floor with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and half-hipped roof with central stack. Two 3 light and central 2 light metal and wooden casements, and 1 to left on ground floor, with central half glazed door with flat hood and boarded door to right. Railed front yard, with wall about 3 feet ramped up to left with spear-head nuts, with spear-head principals and simple central gate with dog- rail.
