Description
Forge House is an 18th-century house located on the east side of The Plain in Goudhurst. The building features red and blue chequered brick on the ground floor and is tile hung on the first floor, topped with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a half-hipped roof and a central chimney stack. The façade includes two three-light and one two-light metal and wooden casement windows, with an additional casement to the left on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a flat hood above, and there is a boarded door to the right. The property has a railed front yard, with a wall that ramps up to the left, featuring spear-head nuts and principals, along with a simple central gate that has a dog-rail.
