TQ 55 41 SPELDHURST SPELDHURST HILL (north side), SPELDHURST 12/576 Anonymous headstone approx 6m south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary the Virgin GV II

Headstone. Dated 1691. Upright sandstone slab standing approx 350mm high. its shaped head curves over a crudely carved face flanked by the numbers of the date 1691. The inscription is in large capitals but the name of the deceased is buried.
