Description

GOUDHURST BLIND LANE TQ 73 NW (south side) 5/98 Cart shed, about 100 metres south west of Crowbourne Farmhouse GV II Cart shed. Early C19, reusing earlier timbers. Timber framed and weather-boarded with plain tiled roof. Single storey hipped building of 4 bays, with open arcaded main elevation (boarded carriage doors to right end bay). Interior: large braced frames to each bay, the structure clearly C19, but the timbers of large scantling, some posts with gunstock jowls, and old mortice holes, many truncated. Included for group value.
