Description

These cottages, known as Zion Farm Cottages, represent a row built in the 18th century. They are timber-framed with weatherboarding on a painted brick base and have a plain tiled roof. Originally a lobby-entry house, the cottages now stand two storeys high on a low plinth, with a half-hipped roof and chimney stacks located centrally to the left and right. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows and a wooden casement to the right. The ground floor features two glazing bar sashes along with a central multi-paned window. Boarded doors are positioned centrally to the left and right, each protected by a flat hood. A boarded door sits within a 20th-century single-story extension at the left end.
