Description

GOUDHURST LIDWELLS LANE TQ 73 NW (north side) 5/206 Trottenden GV II House. C16 clad and extended C18 and c.1910. Timber-framed, clad and extended with red brick and tile hanging with plain tiled roofs. Entrance or garden front: 2 storeys with stacks to end left and to end right with hip-end of rear wing over- sailing to right. Regular fenestration of 3 leaded metal casements on 1st floor and 2 on ground floor with central boarded door and sidelights in timbered, gabled porch. Extension to left of 1910, with pendant bargeboard gable to separately roofed structure with 5 light casement on 1st floor and bay on ground floor, and mid C20 glass conservatory at end left. Right return: the original building, with hipped roof and gablets and stack to rear, and with irregular fenestration. Full frame reported inside.
