Description

Cockshott Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house. The construction is timber-framed and weather-boarded, with a plain tiled roof. It is three storeys high, featuring a double span roof and stacks at the rear, left, and centre right. The front facade has two sash windows on each floor, along with one window to the left on the ground floor. A half-glazed door is situated to the right, sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. The left return has two small sash windows with glazing bars on the second floor, three larger sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and two on the ground floor. A single-storey block extends to the rear. The overall building has the character of a former mill.
